The Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment (“Subcommittee”) of the United States House of Representatives Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure held a September 20th hearing titled:
The Clean Water Act at Fifty: Highlights and Lessons Learned from a Half Century of Transformative Legislation (“Hearing”)
The Subcommittee described the purpose of the Hearing as to:
. . . examine the Clean Water Act in its 50th year of enactment and how the United States is progressing towards its original intent and goals.
Congressman Bruce Westerman of Arkansas’s Fourth Congressional District serves in the Minority on the Subcommittee.
