Traditions Bank Files Official Notice of Data Breach Following Unauthorized Access to Customer Information

On April 17, 2023, Traditions Bancorp, Inc., the holding company that owns and operates Traditions Bank, filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of Massachusetts after learning that an unauthorized party removed files containing confidential customer information from the bank’s computer system. Based on the company’s official filing, the incident resulted in an unauthorized party gaining access to consumers’ names, addresses, Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, loan numbers, debit card numbers, dates of birth, online banking usernames, and driver’s license numbers.
