Turkish hackers claim hacking into Library of Congress website

A hacking group that has dubbed itself the “Turk Hack Team” is taking credit on an online message board that it hacked into the Library of Congress website and hosted systems of Congress.gov, the Copyright Office, Congressional Research Service and other governmental sites.

As a result of the hacking the Library of Congress website was shut down for an unspecified period of time.
