Osceola County and St. Cloud have proposed increases to some of their impact fees as further discussed in  “Osceola County, St. Cloud, and Mt. Dora Propose Massive Increases to Impact Fees”. After hosting required public workshop meetings to discuss the increases, both jurisdictions have decided to delay voting on the proposed impact fee schedules.

The Saint Cloud City Council has decided to push back the vote on the proposed mobility fee schedule to August 8, 2024.

Earlier this month, Osceola County reached the same conclusion by pushing back their vote to implement the increased fees to August 5, 2024.

For both jurisdictions, if the vote occurs in August, the local governments must wait 90 days before implementing the new impact fee schedules.

We will continue to monitor this dynamic situation and provide updates as they become available.
