Do you feel that the federal government doesn’t listen? Or at least not to you? Well, here is the opportunity to have your voice heard, albeit just on cybersecurity.

In February 2016, the President set up the Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity. The Commission is tasked with recommending means to strengthen cybersecurity in both the public and private sector. The recommendations are intended to balance privacy and security needs. The Commission’s charge also includes reconciling the needs of the federal, state and local governments with the private sector, and do so in a manner that promotes continued innovation.

To this end, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has invited public comment on security issues in the digital economy. Anyone with an interest in the following should take the opportunity to comment.
