Brett Tarr has spent the last 15+ years helping organizations develop capabilities and defensible workflows for e-discovery, information governance, legal operations, and data privacy. Brett recently joined Ernst & Young after spending the past 7 years as Chief Counsel, E-Discovery & Information Governance for Caesars Entertainment building their e-discovery, information governance, and privacy functions.

Mr. Tarr takes a holistic approach to legal and data challenges, leveraging innovative processes and emerging technologies to create new workflows, improve operating efficiencies, and optimize risk for law departments and organizations overall. He works to drive a proactive legal function that turns the Law Department into a business partner rather than a reactive cost center.

Mr. Tarr participates in numerous industry workgroups including CLOC, ACC, ARMA, AIIM, IGI, and Sedona Conference, as well as publishing content for ILTA, the Association of Corporate Counsel, and other national publications. He has authored numerous articles and speaks regularly on a range of topics including electronic discovery, computer forensics, legal analytics, information governance, data privacy, data security, and development of defensible processes.

Brett Tarr graduated from UCLA majoring in History, English, and psychology. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law, and also earned an MBA from Georgia State University with concentrations in information systems and marketing.

Amanda is Co-Chair of Warner's Employment Litigation Practice Group. Known for her no-nonsense approach and fierce advocacy, Amanda has established a reputation for defending employer interests in employment-related issues. Amanda’s practice covers all aspects of employment law and she has successfully defended employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful discharge, as well as other statutory, contract and tort-related employment claims. Amanda also regularly defends clients against class and collective action cases involving various claims, including employment discrimination, wage and hour issues and consumer claims. Passionate about her clients’ business needs and goals, Amanda prides herself on being a critical resource, regularly counseling employers on current and relevant employee relation issues. Moreover, Amanda’s in-depth knowledge of her client’s business practices has allowed her to counsel and represent clients in antitrust investigations and proceedings. Niloy litigates and counsels on a broad array of preservation, collection, review, production and admissibility issues. A member of Sedona Working Group 1 and EDRM, and faculty member/participant at such conferences as Arizona State University’s eDiscovery and Digital Evidence Conference, Georgetown University Law Center’s Advanced E-Discovery Institute, Today’s General Counsel’s “The Exchange” national seminar series and The Masters Conference circuit, Niloy speaks, writes and presents regularly on all topics ESI, from both litigation and information governance perspectives. He relies on his years as a database and software engineer when devising strategies for efficient and effective records management, defensible preservation, data harvesting, culling, and focused review. Niloy has litigated complex tort, antitrust, contract and employment class-action matters, represented energy utilities in regulatory proceedings and related litigation, and conducted internal investigations for Fortune 500 and academic clients. He has broad experience in all facets of trial practice, and has chaired trials in state and federal court. He is a native of India, a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, and a proud son of Macalester College, where he teaches trial advocacy and serves on the Alumni Board. When not staring at a screen and keyboard, Niloy enjoys spinning tales for his wife and children.

Nancy Patton

Nancy Patton, Esq. is a Senior Solutions Consultant for Exterro, supporting the organization’s sales process through expertise related to the use of technology for e-discovery. Nancy is a graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School and has been involved in electronic discovery since 2007. Nancy is a frequent speaker and trainer on topics related e-discovery technology and the business processes that are supported by the use of technology. Nancy’s clients benefit from her pre-legal career in Human Resources as well as working as an e-discovery litigation project manager for several years prior to her current role at Exterro.

Nancy is the secretary of the Portland, Oregon ACEDS chapter and has been a certified e-discovery specialist through ACEDS for three years.
