2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT

With the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) increased scrutiny of non-bank financial firms, understanding the CFPB’s examination process has become critical for supervised entities. Join us as we discuss the typical CFPB supervisory examination process, possible outcomes, and the legal risks of such examinations. Specifically, you will learn about the following topics from attorneys with deep experience in CFPB examinations:

  • The CFPB’s supervisory and enforcement authority;
  • The CFPB’s current regulatory priorities and the potential impact of the 2024 election;
  • How the CFPB conducts examinations and investigations;
  • Best practices for navigating inquiries from the CFPB; and
  • Potential legal risks and outcomes of CFPB examinations.
