This half-day session will address the root causes of hazing behavior on college campuses and how it impacts the mental health of your community, practical tips for addressing an initial report of hazing, how to obtain information from reluctant participants, and best practices for conducting a thorough investigation, including how to document interviews and draft investigative reports. The session will also include a discussion about how to address hazing matters that intersect with other compliance concerns, strategies for complying with Collin’s Law in Ohio, and an update on federal hazing legislation.
Cost: $100 per person
Institutional Cost: $300 for unlimited attendees from a single institution
