1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EDT

Join us for a webinar on FTC advertising and privacy compliance for health service providers, including in emerging areas of FTC and state attorney general interest. Also joining as a featured panelist is Mary Engle, Executive Vice President, Policy, at BBB National Programs. Mary previously led advertising enforcement, including on health care matters, at the FTC for 20 years.

The webinar will assist medical providers – including hospitals, doctors, therapists, and specialty services, as well as digital health care apps and online service providers – in navigating FTC and related developments. We will cover:

  • FTC advertising requirements for health care services;
  • FTC regulations that apply to health care apps and health subscription services;
  • FTC and state attorney general priorities, including related to gender-affirming care; and
  • A high-level overview of what to expect if your organization receives an inquiry or comes under FTC or similar state investigation.

Wiley’s FTC Regulation and Privacy teams include former FTC attorneys, who bring a unique inside perspective to these topics. This knowledge, combined with our deep expertise advising and defending companies on FTC and state investigations, will provide valuable insights on advertising and privacy compliance for health providers in the new Administration.
