2:00 PM - 3:00 PM ET
Beijing has long claimed the country of Taiwan – one of the largest economies in Asia, and a key part of the world’s supply chains – as part of China. Chinese military drills following Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s early August trip to Taiwan have alarmed governments and businesses worried about a Chinese invasion of Taiwan. How would a war over Taiwan, especially one involving the United States, impact global businesses in Taiwan and China? What would it do to global supply chains, especially as it relates to semiconductors? And how can businesses ensure that they’re not entangled in a conflict that could be far greater than Russia’s invasion of Ukraine?
Please join Dan Harris of Harris Bricken, Hon. Nazak Nikakhtar of Wiley, and Isaac Stone Fish of Strategy Risks as they discuss the sobering possibility of a war between the U.S. and China over Taiwan, and how businesses and other stakeholders can be prepared.
