The recent 2025 fee setting by the USPTO includes not only fee increases, but the introduction of new fees. One of these new fees is the so-called Information Disclosure Statement (IDS) size fees, which adds a range of fees for submitting an IDS that causes the cumulative number of applicant-provided references to exceed certain thresholds. After a brief review of the duty to disclose and information disclosure statements, this webinar discusses the IDS size fee and provides practical guidance on how to manage it.
During this webinar attendees can expect to learn:
- The Who, What, When, and Why of the Duty to Disclose
- The New Information Disclosure Statement Form
- The New IDS Size Fees
- Tips on How to Address the IDS Size Fees
