What Caused the WellLife Network Data Breach?
The WellLife Network data breach was only recently announced, and more information is expected in the near future. According to these sources, on September 7, 2023, WellLife Network detected suspicious activity within its IT network. Ultimately, this investigation confirmed that an unauthorized party accessed the company’s computer network between August 26, 2023 and September 7, 2023. It was later determined that some of the files that were compromised contained confidential consumer information.
After learning that sensitive consumer data was accessible to an unauthorized party, WellLife Network reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted.
