The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) is the world's leading organization for training and certification in e-discovery and information governance. Since 2010, ACEDS has been training law firms, corporate legal departments, the government, legal service providers and the broader legal community in best practices related to the management of electronically stored information (ESI) and the processes related to legal discovery and disclosure. ACEDS is also member organization for professionals in the private and public sectors who work in e-discovery and related legal fields. ACEDS has 31 chapters in most major US cities, Canada, Ireland, the UK, Netherlands, South Africa, and Australia-New Zealand.
ACEDS has established the field’s first psychometrically sound certification exam for e-discovery and legal professionals. Qualified candidates who pass a rigorous examination will earn the right to use the Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS™) certification.
